Mentor experience

I purchased my first business in 2001 in Johannesburg, South Africa. It was a coffee shop that catered for the day time local businesses. This business became a roaring success and led to the build of a new location and the start of a franchise. From here I moved to Durban, South Africa as my second location was about 5 years too early and was just a disaster. So we got rid of both business with one being a great success and the other a complete flop. In Durban I worked briefly as a venue manager in the wedding, tourism & entertainment world and then opened what became a very successful restaurant in Hillcrest, Durban, South Africa. From here we had our first child and decided we wanted more time to spend with her so we purchased a WSI Digital Marketing franchise. We have run this now for 10 years in 2019 and have since opened a 2nd branch in London, UK. So we have taken our failures and our success and have tried to showcase these learning's to our clients at WSI and pretty much with everyone that we meet. These learning's were not easy, but are some of the most important I've had in my life. We had very little support during most of these times, so being able to translate this into how beneficial support is has been amazing. From here my wife and I look to grow a global business that helps entrepreneurs to succeed on a much higher percentage and give them a platform to discuss and work through their day to day problems.
