Event
I'm no stranger to being on stage or being in front of the camera. In Bali that is pretty much what I do every day for 14 days straight as an iLab facilitator.
So, when we went into lockdown, I thought it a good time to set up my own studio to get some videos done.
"Easy", I thought. "I already have a selfie-stick."
Turns out there's more to it than that!
I soon realized that being on the business end of the camera is a whole other story. It was actually not just the technical side that tripped me up. There was something else... that "it" that some people have on camera. That made me wonder.
How does one really connect with your audience when on camera?
That's when I got on a call with Dan Cordle.
To say that he's familiar with cameras is an understatement.
As a film director and acclaimed photographer (who exhibits in galleries), he has the technical side of light, sound and composition down to a fine art.
As an actor, and more recently a model, he is very familiar with what it takes to connect with your audience through the lens. In fact, Dan has been teaching on-camera presence to actors for many years, including Green Book Oscar Winner Mahershala Ali. There really are few people more qualified than Dan to speak about this topic.
I am super excited to share that Dan has agreed to join us on a webinar to share some of his wisdom on how to use video and on-camera skills in your business.
