Event
Join us for our monthly event focused on successful social entrepreneur speakers, networking, and making a positive global impact.
We're honored to be introducing you to an outstanding social entrepreneur and global change agent...
Dr. Debra Clark who will be sharing "Life Lessons to Support Your Journey Sourced as a Social Entrepreneur" on November 11, 5-7 pm Eastern.
As leaders…we MUST become the change we want to see where we live, work & socialize. Working and serving for over two decades in Georgia has reminded me of my call to service as a Leader, called a Social Entrepreneur.
Rising from multiple professional training and experiences, Debra’s foundation evolved from her training as a licensed childcare provider. Her training started as an au pair in Paris, France and while she was an exchange student studying and while living in a small community in London, England.
Thirty -five years later she realized that training taught her to care for the helpless and hopeless…a prerequisite for service to community residents and their families. To date she has mentored youth, awakening their inner gifts…from the “crib to the cages”. A champion for environmental awareness, community technical & community education, health, wellness & safety, economic development, jobs, and more, Dr. Dee has evolved from being a Victim, Victor to a VOICE… for the VOICELESS.
Debra is an ongoing avid world learner and her accolades consist of two Doctorates. one Honorary, a Master in Divinity, and a BA degree, a recipient of the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017, and a Global Humanitarian Awardee in 2018. She has written numerous legislative resolutions for environmental awareness and community change
Previously trained as an environmental recycler of electronics, Debra began bridging the digital divide in Georgia in 2007. Selected to serve as the World Chamber of Commerce Environmental Chair for 4 years she became a VOICE against the “trafficking of humans and their body parts” for sale.
Dr. Dee currently serves as the Founder of the GreenSHADES Foundation, a nonprofit organization, and owner of a Women Minority-Owned business, Green Career Services LLC. She leads by example by implementing Senate Resolution 901 Health2Wealth Initiative named from Rosewood2Greenwood…BACK To The H.O.O.D (Helping Others Obtain Destiny). It will bring education and economic empowerment to “help families make healthy life choices” and to build their personal human capital and to sustain their lives.
Debra is a recipient of numerous awards, and notable achievements recognizing her dedication and community leadership locally and globally. She considers her highest accolade of being called Mom, Gammi, Godmother or Ms. Debby, having groomed her own three young leaders equipped with the tools to become themselves “agents of change”.
We'll be meeting on Zoom.
Thanks for joining us.
