Event
It’s a big blow to be dealt at 21 being told you have Ulcerative Colitis. A serious illness that can lead to having your whole colon removed. But news like that can also be a driver and for Paula, it took her on a huge journey of self discovery, completely curing herself of her illness within 9 years and creating Cow Herds, arguably one of the UK’s largest cold press manufacturing juiceries that is not HPP, highly pressured pasteurisation (meaning they are jam-packed full of nutrients) capable of producing over 3000 bottles of yummy health every week!
But Paula will be the first to admit she wasn’t always so clean in her lifestyle or clear in her goals.
She started with buying her own tanning shop at 22 in Salford, 6 beds to be precise, then lost it all. Followed by beauty therapist, cabin crew, holiday rep in Ibiza, then applied to be a dental hygienist but spent nearly ten years as a health trainer whilst training as a professional chef.
However, that breath of experience made her who she is today and gave her the purpose and skills she needed.
Entrepreneurs For Good are pleased to have Paula and Jon share their story with us. Together they run Cowherds as business partners and literally a few weeks ago they also became life partners getting married after being together for 8 years.
Together they are reshaping the world of juices and health whilst creating a profitable that company cares.
From taking volunteers that are struggling to find work and giving them the experience they need to actually taking to the streets in their juice wagon offering juices and healing education to those who require it the most.
With high ambition for the future, plans of franchising plus more on the horizon, come and join us on October 9th to hear what it means to them, to operate a company that puts social purpose directly alongside sustainable profit with fantastic results.
Paula and Jon have also said they will be bringing down their juices for everyone to try and see for yourself how great they taste.

WHERE WILL IT BE
Chapter One Books, Chatsworth House, 19 Lever Street, Manchester, M1 1BY
Whilst still making use of Manchester's central urban community venues, this is a bookshop with a difference. Family founded and run Chapter One is pushing back on the trends of bookshop closure to create a space that is inspiring and community driven.
Yet another creative space that we feel is perfect for Manchester very own Entrepreneur community to meet up, connect and learn.
LOGISTICS AND COSTS
Located in the Northern Quarter of Manchester. Leave the car at home and use Manchester’s clean, above ground metro to transport you or if that’s not possible then there is off road parking. You never know, after a few meetings you might be the source of transport for your own cluster of Entrepreneurs creating your own impact, reducing carbon emissions.
The EFG team currently all contribute to helping make the Entrepreneur Socials accessible to people in all stages on their journey.
We do ask for a suggested £5 donation from attendees which goes towards giving impacts locally and across the world ensuring that every event we provide does its little bit to make a difference.
